When I connect my iPhone 5 to my speaker dock via the adapter the battery charges, but there is no sound from the speaker. Why?
iPhone 5's Lightning connector is based on digital audio, whereas speaker docks with the old 30pin connector are often equipped only with analogue audio input, which means unfortunately it cannot be converted through the adapter.
